Cardigan, Jacket, Sock Club, Lace Blouse, and Scarf.... Who Could Ask for More?

I cannot recall an August this hot and humid, so what do I do? I choose as many knitting projects as possible. I would like to apologize in advance, I am unable to post links (I have no idea why, the link button is currently not present).

My Fall IK magazine arrived and I immediately purchased yarn for The Tangled Yoke Cardigan, by Eunny Jang and The Tilted Duster by Norah Gaughan. I would put in links, but for whatever reason I do not have that option. These lovely knitting patterns can be seen in the Fall issue of Interview Knits 07 or here:

As soon as I have anything close to photographable I will take pictures. What little I have is up on Ravlery, wonderful, enabling Raverly.

Yesterday I joined Zen Yarn Gardens newest sock club (beginning in September), Harmony Sock Club. The blog for the club can be viewed here:

Roxanne hand-paints the most scrumptious yarns, go check her work out at: or you can find her on Etsy.

Speaking of Etsy have you seen the wonderful work of Hide and Sheep? You will not be disappointed if you are looking for functional stitch markers that are lovely, flow easily and do not slow down the knitting process.

If only that was all I am working on, but alas, since I have never been one to stick to just 1 knitting project I have also ordered yarn for two projects from Interweave Knits Summer 07:

I am waiting (sort of patiently) for the hand-painted silk yarn (Alchemy Yarns Silken Straw) to arrive to make the Oriel Lace Blouse by Shirley Paden and for the arrival of Handmaiden' Sea Silk to make the Montego Bay Scarf by Amy R. Singer.

Time to stop posting and time to begin knitting.
