Aloha Friday-the Last of 2008

This is the last Aloha Friday of 2008! Today I am relaxing with my family and visiting in-laws. We have been having a fabulous Christmas week just being together and playing games.

My question for this week is: What is the most treasured gift you received this year?

My answer would be the Twisted-Silver bracelets my son and and husband choose for me. Twin #1 had my name and bought me the Clink Bracelet and DH purchased the Alabaster Bracelet for me. They are gorgeous and make me jingle. :)

Visit An Island Life for more fun Aloha Fridays.

Hubby and I are not exchanging Chanukah gifts this year. We are hoping to go on our first family vacation since having kids. We may go to BlogHer or Disney World.

honestly, just to see my kids so happy with what they got, was the best! They all did the Santa happy dance this year, lol

Oh you lucky girl!!! They DID make it a Twisted holiday after all. I'm so happy for you, both of those are so pretty! Now we need to start on our earrings dearie.
My son got me a gardening book which is absolutely wonderful (and since it's from him, of course it's my favorite). Mr Man gave me those Little Joseph candleholders I wanted, Harajuku perfumes and a tshirtthat says "I Comment".
Funny little Christmas...

Hmmmmm, well I would have to say from a sentimental side... a book of poetry handwritten by my little boy (age 11). From a fun side: tie. Wii Fit and rollerskates :-)

The old pictures that my sister had created for me. She shared her words which is not easy for her but also used pictures that I had not seen for many years

Most treasured gift I received this holiday season...hmm. Probably the wool embroidered sweater that my husband gave me. Totally unexpected, but so pretty and toasty warm! I love it. And my 2nd oldest niece drew us a Christmas card. It made me cry, so that's right up there too.

They are so lovely, and I can't believe I'm a Twisted Silver virgin. I've gotta get my husband to buy me something, since we didn't really exchange gifts this year.

My hubs and I don't exchange gifts either (referencing Kathleen here) but it does make for a bum Christmas.
I got 2 gifts this year: $100 from my mom, and a t-shirt from Type-A Mom on twitter, because I was complaining in my tweets about not getting any gifts. So I don't think it is fair for me to pick a fave between those two! :)

Oh wait, not true not true;there was one more! My friends gave me a book called "I Taught Myself to Crochet". I said, yay are you going to teach me? They said, "Um, I TAUGHT MYSELF!"

Shoot!
