I'm totally embarrassed, but this is the truth. Sometimes I lay on the sofa or my bed with my laptop on my tummy. The heat from the battery works just like a heating pad.

I drink Ginger ale for an upset stomach.

Ginger ale usually works for me but I don't really get stomach aches anymore. I used to as a little girl though.

Sometimes I lay on my tummy...lay very still. Other times, soak in a hot bath.

Sleep.

ginger. But that is only for upset tummies. Not sure about flu tummies.

Gingerale and sleep will usually help. Also curling up with a pillow for pressure does make it feel better.

Ginger tea works well, since ginger warms your insides and encourages blood flow to rid your body of nasties. Or so I've read...

Ginger ale and saltines! But since my hubby is a doc, I take lots of meds too! He brings us shots of phenigrin (can't spell) when we have the stomache bug...we just sleep till it's over. My girls don't even mind getting that shot when they are puking. Hope you feel better soon!

Flu-ish stomach pain specifically?

Heating pad, ginger ale or flat 7-up, saltines, maybe some soup {that's a big maybe}...Lots and lots of sleep. Mmm and tea.

I do exactly what they say not to do... I stop eating and drinking. I will not put anything in me for a couple days just to not have that sick feeling in my stomach.

I hope you feel better soon.

I just try to rest and drink gingerale

Lots of rest, gingerale, soda crackers, and lots of TLC from my hubby... But mostly I just hibernate under the covers and wait for my stomach to settle so I can then take an antiemetic.
Hope you are feeling better soon.
