Not Me Monday #8

Welcome to Not Me! Monday! This blog carnival was created by MckMama. You can head over to her blog to read what she and everyone else have not been doing this week.

I AM NOT tired of pudding, all forms of pudding!

I AM NOT tired of eating Jell-O!

I AM NOT tired of eating applesauce, which is SO filling.

I DID NOT mash up cup cakes in melty frozen yogurt because I wanted something that was not Applesauce, Jell-O, or pudding.

I DID NOT try to eat a sandwich, that would be silly, since I cannot chew.
I WOULD NOT even try.

I AM NOT sad that all my food is suitable for a toddler.

I AM NOT focusing all my energy on food.

I DO NOT have yet another dental appointment tomorrow. That would make appointment #8 for those keeping score.

Finally, I DID NOT ask friends to email my husband because he thought Tiffany's was a lamp. I WOULD NEVER do something like that. I would have to be in pain and rather hungry to do such a thing, which I AM NOT.

Would you like to play along? Read the rules here and then begin.

I think of the baby grinder I used to put chicken into for my eldest son. If I was your neighbor I'd head into your kitchen, insert chicken and make those tiny little beads of poultry mashed potato and gravy.. and have some tender fresh carrots.
I know your boys aren't as old as mine, but they may still have those small Gerber grinders for meat.
You need to eat. (I'm such a food pusher) =/

I'm thinking of you, praying for you..

As long as your husband is not feeding you from a spoon, then it's ok. Or not. I hope you get your ability to rip, shred and tear up solid foods with your teeth back...soon!!!

I have a suggestion that might make the pudding a little more fun and tasty.

Get DH to go to the store and buy a Angel Food Cake. Also have him get some Jello instant vanilla pudding and cherry pie filling. If you dont like cherries you can substitue your favorite filling. Cool whip is good with it too if you like.

Take the cake and tear into small pieces and put into a shallow large tupperware type container. Then pour the vanilla pudding over the top of that and work it into the cake pieces until absorbed. Then pour the filling over that, and you can remove the actuall fruit if it makes is easier to eat. Then top it off with cool whip. It will make a very soft deert that you can swallow without chewing, and talk about good.

Still Praying for you,

Oh Jennifer... I am so sorry. Here is hoping that #8 is one of the last visits you will have to make. I hope that Tim's recipe he posted will be something you can eat!

OMG....when can you eat again? I have still been thinking about you and praying for your recovery.

My mom used to make this delicious banana punch...she always had it for us when we had our widsom teeth out or strep me if you want the recipe.

Try potatoe soup, its like really soupy mashed potatoes with sour cream, butter and cheese melted in it. I lived on that stuff when I had mine removed. Hope you feel better soon!

I would think a casserole type dish would be easy to eat but I have never had that much work done at once. We still miss ya and you have lots of people praying for your recovery.

Your email post said to check out your Bazil giveaway.....but that is over.....did you know that your post went out like that?
