Writer's Block?

I have a blog, obviously, and try to post at least once a day, yet I do not consider myself a writer. Is it possible for a non-writer to have writer's block? Do I lead such a dull life that I have nothing to blog about? No, that is not the case. Quite the opposite actually, I have too much I could write about, yet not enough I should write about.

How does one over come writer's block? Could it be my mood is clouding my ability to write anything witty? Probably. So for now, I think I will work on finishing my second review book (not for the blogging world, I know, odd) and hopefully I shall have something to share that is somewhat witty or at least something worth reading.

I get the same way - just keep at your life and something will pop up that you'll want to blog about. Happy Reading!

I hate when I can't figure out what to blog about. I generally like to have posts pre-written for a couple days out to avoid this problem, but I can't seem to keep that up since I've been so busy at work.

I have a hard time self-editing. I mean that there are lots of thoughts I want to share, but I have a hard time determining which ones I should share.

It's easier on my erin's artsy crafty side blog, since I try to keep it craft-related and don't get too personal there. But, my all about erin blog is a little tougher. How much information is too much information? And, alternatively, does anyone care about the minutiae of my day-to-day existence?

Don't worry - something will happen in your everyday life that will be blog worthy!

Girl....you are definately a writer! I've also been in slow motion with my blogging.....so much is going on that I can't decide what to write about....and I'm crazy busy!

If you find a cure-all, let me know. I am suffering from the same affliction. Perhaps we should eat more chocolate. Yes, that's it...

I'm having a case of it right now. I know I'll see my way out of it but sometimes it seems like you do the same thing over and over. That's when the block comes in.

It's tough...because i think once you realize people are "following" and leaving comments you feel more compelled to write better and better or more and more or something something. For me blogging just keeps me practicing and writing..expressing. Sooo just write it..sometimes posts will be fabulous and sometimes not. Keep stretching and just write regardless of what it is about. (sort of a Carpenters song isn't it? ) :)

I kind of agree with Naomi's cure.

Works for me, sometimes.

I get that way too. My life IS boring. I sometimes struggle to blog about something I feel is worthwhile or interesting.
I hope you find something to write about soon!

I've been there! But there's nothing a dozen chocolate chip cookies can't fix... at least, that's what I hear...

Writer's block comes and goes, that's for sure. But don't put too much pressure on yourself to write a certain way. Anything you write will be interesting. :)

I think you need a meme!

Could you write about something from your past, like how you and your husband met? Or is that too personal for this blog? Or maybe what you would like to do if money or time was not a constraint? Like go to school, etc.
