Temple Touch Thermometer Giveaway!

*****************ENDED******************
Years ago when my first son was born, the only option available to take his temperature was to use a rectal thermometer. When my twins were born, technology was catching up and the newest technology was a thermometer one could use in a child's ear, back then there were two settings, adult/child. It was still difficult to take their temperatures as they were premature, so back to using rectal thermometers.
Now there are Temple Thermometers and I am amased and awed by them! I was sent one to review and one to giveaway to a lucky reader!

I reviewed the ReliOn Temple Touch Thermometer and I am happy to report this is the most wonderful, easy, and compact thermometer I have ever used. I wish this thermometer would have been around when my boys were babies! A few things about the The ReliOn Temple Touch Thermometer:
  • It is non-invasive, no need to wake a sleeping baby or child.
  • It is accurate and gives a read-out in approximately 6 seconds.
  • It has a memory recall.
  • No covers are needed.
  • The battery is included!
I have one to give away to a lucky reader! To enter this contest you must have a valid email. Open to US residents only. I will be contacting the winner via email and the winner has 48 hours to contact me or another winner will be chosen using Random. Contest ends at 6pm EST on September 4, 2009
  • Initial Entry (this must be done): Please leave me a comment with your email address telling me what feature you like most.
  • For 2 entries please tweet this giveaway and put the link in your entry.
  • For 3 entries blog about this giveaway and leave the blog link.
Good Luck!
Thank you to MomSelect for giving me this opportunity.

I love that you don't need to buy a battery right away when you get it and that it's great for a sleeping baby.

I love that this is NON-invasive! I am going to be a first time Gramma in October, PLUS I am a neonatal Pediatric nurse, TRUST me, you do NOT need to be stickin' a thermometer in THOSE places in a newborn. It's tricky for a new mom who might be a little unsure of herself!

Thanks for a Great Giveaway!

Oh you fancy shmancy mommy.
I like the fact that the Temple Touch is non invasive. There's always that altercation when they see you coming with a thermometer.
Oh my, how well I remember the rectal thermometer. Come to think of it, that seems kind of dangerous, looking back at it.

Happy SITS Sunday! Your comment was above mine :)

What an awesome thermometer. We have an ear-scan style, but I tell you, with this nasty flu I was fighting the last six days, my head was so congested, and my ears so stuffed up, it hurt to use that thermometer. I would have loved to have had this. Very non-invasive, and I assume no special disposable covers to buy; like for the ear-scan styles.

Thanks for hosting this giveaway! I'm hosting one on my blog as well, and hope you'll stop by and enter :)

I like that is unaffected by local ambient conditions, resulting in more accurate readings.

I too wish this was available when my kids were younger. would have been so much nicer and easier.

Wow - I'm so glad you shared this information. I've got a two year old who doesn't like the rectal thermometer (ohhhh the tears I've seen!!). He was a preemie, so any feverish symptoms get special (and quick) attention!! Now we've got another on the way, so with two kids in the house soon, this would be a wonderful thermometer!! Yeah to MomSelect for giving you the opportunity to review the thermometer.

Please include me in your giveaway.
