What Are You Reading Monday?

I am trying a new Meme created by J. Kaye at J. Kaye's Book Blog saying what books I read last week and what books I plan to read this week.

Since I am new to this Meme I am going to begin with just listing the novels I hope to read this week and see how well I do.

I plan to read:
  • The Heretic's Daughter by Kathleen Kent
  • The Siege by Stephen White
  • Book of the Dead by Patricia Cornwell
  • Triptych by Karin Slaughter

Check back next Monday to see how well, or not so well I accomplish my reading goals.

I wish I could pick up a book on a Monday Morning and not put it down until evening. With burning eyes and a yawn! I wish I could find a genie lap and wish for a week of reading and relax time.

I haven't read any of those books! Interested to know what you think of them when you're done reading them.

I keep coming across this question lately. I guess it's the summer beach reads we all need. I love to read so am always happy to see what others are reading. Currently, I'm reading The Diary of Mr. Darcy... it's okay but not anywhere near as good as P&P. I just finished Peony in Love by Lisa See which was great, but not as good as her other novel, Snowflower and the Secret Fan.
Stopped by from SITS!

Well, hope you are able to read all of them!!!!
I have been holding on to one book for 1 month!!! It absolutely sucks!!!
I don't get enough time to read!! 24 hours is a really small time to do such a lotta things!!
Eat, drink, pray, blog, study....
uhhhh!!!

That's quite a bit of reading to do, hope you can find the quiet time for it. I read several of Stephen White's novels and really enjoyed them. I thought Kill Me was the best, though he's always good. Enjoy your reading and see you next week.

I have a pile of books I need to read. Sometimes it is hard to find time to read actual books. I'm constantly reading blogs instead. Have a wonderful Monday!

That's quite the list for one week! I usually read 2 books a week which ensures I make my 100 books a year committment. I may have read 4 in one week before but they were probably all chick lit.

Right now I'm reading Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintainence.

Stopping by from SITS!

I loved the Heretic's Daughter, it was really good. I haven't read Patricia Cornwell in years. I just stopped liking her books. The early stuff was great.

Unfortunately I have no plans to read this week - well except for blogs of course. Our company just left and I will just be catching up. I would love to start a book soon though.

I hope you will be able to get through at least one of your novels - I know you are a fast reader!

I too am a Patricia Cornwell fan... I am reading The Associate by John Grisham right now. Probably a quick read but I can only fit in a chapter or two a day so it always takes me a while.
