Autumn Activity-Aloha Friday

Seeing how it is Friday, today's question is going to require as little brain power as possible.

The question for today: What is your favourite autumn activity?

My favourite autumn activity to to go walking or hiking. I love the sound of the rustling leaves under my feet and the air smells so delightful.

Sounds weird, but now that it is fall, I know the weather is cooling and it is time for us to hit the desert to ride dirtbikes. Yay!

I totally agree with you! we were just saying that we're going to have to take a nature walk through 7 Bridges, beautiful trails with wooden bridges. We took photos there one year, they were great. Maybe I'll post them next Wednesday ;)

Hmmmm.....I think mine would have to be baking. There are so many yummy fall recipes!

I love the Fall - everything about it - from the apple picking, cider making, apple pie baking to the pumpkins on the doorstep, pumpkin pie, breads and puddings. The scents of crip clean fall air. *le sigh* Wonderful!

I really miss seeing the leaves change color! We do enjoy going to corn mazes & getting pumpkins though. We finally found a farm that is doing that. Yipee!

I love walks in the park to see the colors. Apple picking is also fun, but I don't get to go every year.

I like finding some of the best fallen leaves and taking them inside with the boys and coloring their pattern onto paper with crayons. I think that it looks so cool and its so fun, maybe even more for me than the kids!

Your question ties right in with my question! I love Fall fairs and we are going this weekend...although the weather looks kind of crappy.

MInnesota can be beautiful this time of year. If you can get a nice crisp but not too cold afternoon, biking around the lakes areas is a treat! The colorful trees reflecting in the water is breathtaking.

Apple picking for sure. We are going next week actually.

We usually go to the mountains-beautiful!

Love going on rides to see all of the beautiful colors in the countryside.

We like to go on a drive and admire the fall leaves changing or it is fun to jump in the leaves too. WE have a ton of trees in our yard to so we can make a huge pile! My kids love it.

My fav activity is staying inside on cold days and spoking our fire in the woodburning stove!

Oh, and The Lovely Bones was such a sad book....it gave me nightmares! I have a daughter and now I never want her out of my sight....what a sad sad book.

Mmmmm, the sounds and smells are completely different for fall, you are certainly right. For us, there are really no fallen leaves (in FL), but the beach is much emptier and seems cleaner and more peaceful during fall and winter, so I think that is what I love.....the cleaner, more peaceful beaches that fall brings.....

I love to take walks in the park, ride bikes, and go to fall festivals.

Being fairly new to New England, we just LOVE spending a fall afternoon apple picking.

I saw someone above mentioned bonfires... I so miss those!

Mine is just being able to hang out with the kids outside during the day. I can't during the summer months because of asthma but it is so nice in the fall!

Oh, it's hard to pick just one -- baking is a big one, and going on hikes to see fall colors, jumping in the leaves -- see, I could go on and on :-)
