Halloween Style Aloha Friday

Seeing how it is Friday, today's question is going to require as little brain power as possible.

Autumn always makes me think of apples. The question for today: Are you or your children going trick or treating? Attending a Halloween party?

DH and I will not be attending a fancy dress (although I wish we were). My oldest has not informed me of his plans, however the twins, two days ago, told me they were invited to a party. I have no idea what they are wearing. They are teens, they can be creative.

Well, we were supposed to go to a Halloween party at my son's school tonight. That will not happen since he is just over the flu and our little guy had a febrile seizure and was in the ER today. Trick-or-treating is likely out here as well.

We were going to help our grown sons and their families at the church's fall festival by taking picture of the cute little ones. But we are having unseasonably wet weather here so it has been cancelled.

THanks for stopping by and leaving a comment on Declan-our baby grand. We think he is quite the doll!! He is going to be a pirate and the other Baby Grand is a lion. Too cute.

Blessings.

We make a big deal out of it. So far we've had 2 parties, school dance, tonight was the rag shag parade. We have more to come this weekend.

My kids are going TorTing. I stay home and hand out the candy while hubs takes them out. I've never in my life been invited to a Halloween party!

So far, we are going to a Car Show/Halloween Festival during the day on Saturday. I am not sure about Saturday night. Hopefully my daughter can get together with her cousins. If we do trick-or-treat, it will be very few houses.

We are going to a Halloween craft class (dd, her friend & me) then later it will be trunk or treating. Since we live in the boondocks most of the churches out here ask the congregations to come & park in the parking lot & hand out treats out of the trunk of the car. It's nice cause you always know who the candy is from.

I have 6 yr old identical girls and they will be trick or treating. We live in a very small town where everyone knows everyone. My husband and I go right along with them and are going to an awesome neighborhood where we know almost everyone. The church is doing a "trunk or treat" and i love that but I really want my kids to get the same experience I had as a kid. If I was in a big city, there would be no way I would be taking my girls out. Happy Haunting!

we don't have kids yet.. as for us.. i guess we won't attend a Halloween party as Germans don't celebrate it.. but idk maybe we can have a party of our own and invite people over.. then we can even dress up and not leave the house like that.. hmm that's a good thought.. i have to run if through my husband and see if we can do anything in such short notice:)

Aloha!

* my Aloha Friday's up too:)

Taking the kids to the local Fire Station...they have a bounce house, a real headless horseman (the horse is real, so is the person...but not really headless), trunk-or-treat, and surprises I'm sure my kids will enjoy.

B is "going" just to a few family members house... at 8 months, he can not enjoy the candy, so we are just hitting a couple houses!

We don't have any plans. My hubby is working and my son is at my ex's this weekend. So I'll probably just hang out at home.

The adults are having a Halloween costume party at a friend's house tonight while the kiddies stay home (hey...tomorrow's THEIR dress up night! lol). I've been waiting to play dress up all week! Didn't think Friday was EVER going to get here! lol

Tomorrow night we'll go trick or treating with the kids (who are 3, 8, and 10) and then possibly "crash" a friend's bonfire afterwards. ;-)

No party here. My son received a super man costume so he'll wear that and I'll put a crown and dress on the girl and call her a princess.

But we'll all stay home and hand out the candy.

We're going Tick or Treating tomorrow. Leland and I have a Halloween party tonight, and a Masquerade wedding tomorrow.

The grandkids will be going. Grandpa and I will stay home.

No costume party for us this year.........darn! And as for our kids, my 3 yr old son is going through a serious "I'm scared of monsters" phase and my 21 month old has NO interest (LOL) so......long story short, we aren't taking them out trick-or-treating either.
The crazy thing is: we haven't ever had any trick-or-treater's come to our home looking for candy!! I mean EVER!! We live in an area where the homes are quite spread out and there are just not that many kids around!

Have a nice Halloween night!

Definitely some trick or treating. And there will be a neighborhood block party. It's nice to have everything right at home.
