Clarification on The 12 Prearls of Christmas

A wonderful reader of mine asked a very good question. She wondered what exactly the 12 Pearls of Christmas were, since she had come across several posts like mine. I answered her privately and thanked her for bringing this question up. Apparently I had not made it clear enough, so let me start at the beginning.

A few weeks back I reviewed a book, The Pearl Girls: Encountering Grit, Experiencing Grace, and my review and tour date along with more information can be found here.

The 12 Pearls of Christmas is a delightful way to conclude the tour. Those of us who participated where asked if we would be willing to post these wonderful, heart-warming "pearls" through Christmas Day. I did not write them, there are different authors for each day. I do not receive any compensation for this, just the pleasure of being a part of something larger than myself and knowing that these amasing stories are reaching others and one of my commenter's could possibly be the winner of a 3 strand Pearl Necklace.

This is directly from the publicity agent:

"The Pearl Girl blog will be hosting 12 Pearls of Christmas for the 12 days proceeding Christmas day. The series will run from December 13th to the 25th. Contributing authors include Melody Carlson, Tricia Goyer, Susan May Warren, Dawn Meehan, Maureen Lang, Mary deMuth, Holley Gerth, and more ...

CONTEST: A three strand pearl necklace will be given away on New Year's Day. The contest is open for all of you to post on your blog. All people need to do is leave a comment on your blog. You will need to email all the names of the people who commented on their blog during the 12 Pearls of Christmas series the week after Christmas to be entered into the drawing. The winner will be chosen randomly and announced all the participating blogs."

At the end of each 12 Day of Christmas Post, there will always be this:

A three strand pearl necklace will be given away on New Year's Day. All you need to do to have a chance of winning is leave a comment here. Come back on New Year's Day to see if you won!
