It's Monday What Are You Reading? 8 February

I adore this meme, which was originally What Are you Reading Mondays created by J. Kaye's Book Blog. This fabulous meme is now being hosted by Sheila and has been renamed, It's Monday What Are You Reading? Come join the fun.

It's Mondat What Are you Reading is the perfect way for me to begin my week and allows me to focus on what needs to be read and to see what I have or have not accomplished the previous week. I also enjoy discovering new books by visiting other participants blogs.

We lost power on Saturday so I am behind on my reading.

EDIT: Due to the loss of a family member on Sunday I doubt I will be much reading done this week.

I Read and Reviewed (click the title to be taken to the review):
This Week I am hoping to read (I type this optimistically since there was a death in the family we learned of Sunday morning):
  • Last Night In Montreal by Emily St. John Mandel
  • The Singer's Gun by Emily St. John Mandel
  • Lessons In French by Laura Kinsale
  • Buying Time by Pamela Samuels Young
  • The Bride Collector by Ted Dekker
  • Countess of Scandal by Amanda McCabe
Visit next Monday to see if I managed to accomplish my reading goals.

You always have books that I've never even heard of on your blog! I have a Michael Palmer book here waiting to be read. Your review of Searching for Tina Turner definitely has me interested!

Try to find time for you this week!

I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your family member. I am sure its a hard time for you and your family and I hope that you all get through it ok.

Don't worry too much about what reading you get done, lots more impotant things out there.

I haven't read any of the books that you have mentioned, but I will be sure to check out the reviews.

If you get a chance, here is my Its Monday! post
