Bird of Paradise-Wordful & Wordless Wednesday

I adore the Bird of Paradise .
(These are some of the flowers from my neighbour's home. It seemed fitting, since today is Rosella's Wake.)

How beautiful!! I love bird of paradise, too. I painted one in high school and I have the painting in my hallway.

I love bird of paradise flowers. Every picture I ever saw really blew me away but when I saw one in person for the first time, I almost couldn't believe that it was real. They're so big and their color is so rich.
...Thoughts and prayers are with you today.
